The role focuses on building and deploying a document-analysis app around an existing intelligence engine, collaborating with customer stakeholders and the core engineering team. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of related experience, a bachelor’s degree, and strong software engineering skills, including APIs, data pipelines, and cloud operations.

Qualifications

• Four (4) or more years related experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related area or equivalent.
• Strong software engineering experience delivering production apps and integrating APIs and data pipelines.
• Proficiency in modern application stacks, database design, automated validation and cloud operations.
• Experience with retrieval or language-model apps and source-grounded outputs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Translate approved comment-processing workflows into application requirements, data schemas and tests.
• Implement ingestion, normalization, search, categorization, source traceability and export features.
• Create connection interfaces to authorized data sources and government-provided interfaces; identify access dependencies early.
• Build a reviewer interface with corrections, mappings and audit history.
• Evaluate retrieval, classification and summary quality with regulatory experts.
• Test duplicate handling, attachment coverage, reconciliation, high-volume processing and reproducible exports.
• Implement authentication, permissions, logging, monitoring, backups and deployment controls.
• Coordinate changes to the custom application with the core platform team and maintain an inventory of components.
