Qualifications

• General knowledge of computers and software applications.
• File management and office technology experience (2 years).
• Modify document structure and accessibility elements such as tags, headings, lists, reading order, tables, links, images.
• Experience using Adobe Acrobat Pro or other PDF editing software (2 years).
• Experience with document processing, data entry, and records management.
• Quality assurance and high-volume production-oriented work (2 years).
• Equidox PDF Remediation Software experience is highly desired (1 year).

Responsibilities

• Participate in on-the-job training related to PDF accessibility and remediation procedures.
• Learn and use specialised software to identify and correct accessibility issues within PDF documents.
• Remediate PDFs by adjusting tags, headings, lists, reading order, and tables.
• Perform automated checks and basic manual quality assurance.
• Coordinate with the agency webmaster to upload accessible documents and replace non-accessible ones.
• Maintain accurate records of remediation status and file organization.
