Job summary

Orbital Engineering, Inc. seeks a Distribution Engineer to support Utility Services projects in New Jersey. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited college in Engineering.
• Experience in the electric utility industry, including distribution systems.
• Completion of EIT or FE exam preferred.
• Willingness to obtain a PE license preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare distribution voltage construction packages.
• Assist with distribution line design 2.4kV - 34kV.
• Conduct quality reviews of work prepared by others.
• Evaluate loading of equipment components for reliability.
• Analyze field data for successful design implementation.
