Job summary

Minitab is seeking a Simulation Consultant to support customers across the engagement lifecycle, ensuring successful implementation and adoption of Simul8 solutions. You will train, coach, and deliver high-quality consulting services while partnering with cross-functional teams to drive value and growth.

The role emphasizes model design, validation, and clear business insights, with opportunities to travel and work onsite in State College, PA or remotely within Pennsylvania.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 1+ years creating discrete-event simulation models for business processes.
• Experience with Simul8 preferred; Arena/AnyLogic/Simio/FlexSim also acceptable.
• Ability to translate complex problems into analytical simulations and insights.
• Strong communication with customers and stakeholders; willing to travel ~25%.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver discrete-event simulation models to represent client processes.
• Develop and validate models; run scenarios and provide actionable recommendations.
• Interpret outputs into business insights and present findings to customers.
• Lead model discovery sessions, workshops, and training events.
• Collaborate with Sales/Marketing to support customer lifecycle initiatives.
• Maintain clear documentation of assumptions, data, experiments, and results.
