Job summary

Tetra Tech, Inc. is seeking Disaster Recovery / Grant Management / Public Assistance Consultants to support FEMA Public Assistance and other disaster recovery programs across the United States. This on-call role may be remote, onsite, or hybrid, depending on project requirements.

As a Disaster Recovery Consultant, you will provide technical grants management support, project formulation, compliance guidance, and funding optimization while adhering to applicable laws and program requirements.

Qualifications

2+ years FEMA Public Assistance experience
Knowledge of FEMA PA policy, eligibility, and PAPPG
Experience with project formulation, PW development, and grant documentation review
Experience responding to RFIs and supporting reimbursement requests
Willingness to travel nationwide and work across multiple deployments
Proficiency with MS Office Suite

Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted advisor to applicants throughout the FEMA Public Assistance lifecycle.
Support FEMA PA program delivery across all phases including PDAs, Recovery Scoping Meetings, Damage Inventory, and closeout activities.
Assist with development of PWs and Grants Manager submissions; support A-G projects and CEF development.
Review damages, costs, and documentation to determine eligibility and program compliance.
Maintain records in grant management systems and provide updates to leadership.
Assist with capacity-building efforts among partners and contribute to process improvements.
