Job summary
Spectraforce Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Disaster Recovery Consultant to strengthen enterprise DR capabilities remotely (EST). You will partner with technology and business teams to improve recovery planning, testing, and governance across critical services within a 6‑month engagement.
The role focuses on validating RTOs/RPOs, identifying recovery gaps, and driving practical improvements for audit-ready readiness and regulatory oversight.
Qualifications
- 9-10+ years in disaster recovery, IT resilience, or technology risk.
- Hands-on experience building and validating DR plans.
- Experience leading DR testing (e.g., failover, tabletop, simulations).
- Strong understanding of RTO/RPO and dependencies.
- Ability to collaborate with technology and infrastructure teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Review and enhance DR plans with technology and business teams.
- Validate recovery strategies and failover capabilities.
- Identify gaps in recovery readiness and dependencies.
- Design and execute DR testing, including simulations.
- Assess recovery procedures and recommend improvements.
- Align DR plans to critical business services and priorities.
- Support governance and second-line oversight.
- Prepare materials for audits and governance reviews.
