• Show leadership and communication skills with experience influencing cross-functional teams.
• Require medical degree and license; ophthalmology training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead proactive patient safety and benefit-risk strategy for investigational compounds across early development.
• Provide medical safety leadership for first-in-human, dose-escalation and other studies; review safety documents.
• Integrate diverse evidence to identify safety risks and inform development strategy.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define risk-management measures and governance participation.
• Oversee safety surveillance, signal evaluation, and input to regulatory documents (DSURs).
• Represent Safety in internal/external forums and lead strategic safety initiatives.
