Job summary

Kitsch seeks a Director of Regulatory & Tech Transfer to own the regulatory and supply infrastructure across Haircare, Body, and Fragrance. You will ensure compliance, quality, and robust documentation, replacing external consultants as the primary authority across EU/UK, Health Canada, and FDA frameworks.

You will manage tech transfers end-to-end, audit documentation, and build a durable, audit-ready formula library, enabling on-shelf confidence and scalable growth for the Consumables

Qualifications

• Deep working knowledge of EU/UK (MHRA), Health Canada, and FDA cosmetics and personal care regulations.
• Proven experience managing tech transfers end-to-end across multiple SKUs.
• Active supplier network in haircare, body, or fragrance manufacturing.
• Track record in regulatory and documentation portfolios in consumer goods/beauty.
• Experience owning retail partner compliance submissions (Target, Ulta, Walmart) or equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Produce a complete supply risk map of every active SKU within 90 days and identify alternative suppliers for high-risk SKUs.
• Serve as internal final approval authority on artwork going to suppliers and sign off on compliance decisions in-house.
• Own all tech transfers across Haircare, Body, and Fragrance end to end with timelines and weekly status.
• Audit SKU documentation within 30 days and close gaps across COAs, formula specs, packaging specs, and retain samples.
• Maintain an approved formula library with regulatory-reviewed, transfer-ready formulas.
• Catch quality concerns at development stage to ensure ≥4.5-star consumer ratings.
• Oversee regulatory and quality compliance with major retailers and portals.
• Conduct regular GMP, ISO, and REACH audits and drive remediation to resolution.
• Author and maintain SOPs; train staff to preserve knowledge beyond individuals.
• Serve as primary contact for adverse event investigations and regulatory reporting.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate regulatory research, gap analysis, and documentation workflows.
