Job summary

Virscio, a US-based translational research organization providing in vivo disease modeling and histopathology, seeks a Director of Pathology to lead the pathology function across studies and collaborations. Qualifications

• Requires DVM.
• ACVP board certification or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years preclinical pathology experience, including 10 years nonhuman primate experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pathology function and supervise pathology and image analysis teams.
• Develop and approve histopathology SOWs and amendments.
• Ensure data acquisition, QC, collation, and analysis per protocols and SOPs.
• Oversee study reports and sponsor communications.
• Engage subcontracted labs to achieve study endpoints.
• Contribute to SOPs and QA findings; support audits.
• Lead capability expansion and training in pathology.
