Salary: $140,000-$170,000 + Bonus Potential

With over 50,000 SKUs across a portfolio of brands, each featuring its own website, sales team, and marketplace presence, they are well-established but do not want to be complacent. They are focused on expanding their reach and boosting profitability. To achieve this, they are searching for an innovative merchandising strategist who can leverage the depth and breadth of their branding and product development experience to burst through stagnant growth and lead bottom-line expansion. Someone who can balance acting as the voice of the customer while serving as their in-house subject matter expert on product expansion and optimization. [REMOTE] Director of Merchandising (retail & ecommerce merchandising exp. req.) Responsibilities

  1. Conduct market research to identify trends and product expansion opportunities
  2. Align product assortments with brand identity and customer preferences
  3. Lead development and launch of white-label products for brand exclusivity
  4. Negotiate favorable terms and maintain relationships with vendors
  5. Implement innovative negotiation strategies for cost reduction and value addition
  6. Evaluate and rationalize SKU assortments for optimal product mix
  7. Provide leadership to brand managers (9), promoting accountability and excellence
  8. Equip the team to execute strategies that enhance sales and profitability
  9. Collaborate with marketing, operations, and purchasing to achieve business objectives
  10. Analyze sales data to inform product offerings and pricing strategies

[REMOTE] Director of Merchandising (retail & ecommerce merchandising exp. req.) Qualifications

  1. 8+ years of retail merchandising experience required
  2. Leadership experience within multi-brand, high volume (5k+ SKUs) DTC ecommerce required
  3. Vendor management including sourcing and negotiation experience required
  4. Significant go-to-market experience including white-label products required
  5. Proven track record leading merchandising strategies that increase profitability required
