Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• At least three years of direct experience in journalism.
• At least two years of fundraising experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute fundraising initiatives to advance the IRE mission.
• Lead sponsorship and exhibitor/recruiter solicitation for IRE’s three annual conferences.
• Cultivate and steward long-term donor relationships, including major gifts, annual campaigns and legacy giving.
• Research and identify new grant opportunities including foundations and commercial entities.
• Collaborate with staff and the IRE Board to meet budget goals and strategic objectives.
