Job summary

Hyland, a leader in content services technology, seeks a Director, Application Security to own security strategy, governance, risk mitigation, and compliance across multiple platforms. This remote US role partners with teams to design and manage a secure SDLC with robust incident response and regulatory alignment.

The role requires directing security programs, building a high-performing team, and delivering data-driven security metrics to executives.

Qualifications

• Requires extensive experience in software product development and secure SDLC leadership.
• Proven ability to drive security strategy, governance, risk mitigation and compliance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead cross-functional teams.
• Experience building and directing security organizations with measurable results.
• Ability to provide executive-level assurance and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee strategic vision, policies, and procedures to secure product development.
• Define and scale the security technology platform and automated controls.
• Lead the security organization and regulatory compliance efforts across business units.
• Direct the SDL to ensure incident response, triage, remediation, and external communications.
• Provide executive summaries on assurance metrics and security posture to leadership.
• Manage performance and development for direct reports and monitor emerging security technologies.
