Job summary

Quorum Health Corporation seeks a Director Ancillary Services to provide system-level leadership for Laboratory, Radiology/Imaging, and Respiratory Therapy across the organization. The role focuses on standardizing practices, improving quality and patient safety, strengthening regulatory compliance, and optimizing productivity and cost management.

This leadership position requires regular travel across assigned facilities to assess operations, support local leaders, and drive system-wide

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, clinical laboratory science, radiologic sciences, nursing, or related healthcare field.
• 7+ years of progressive healthcare experience with at least 5 years in leadership in hospital operations, ancillary services, diagnostic services, or multi‑department clinical environment.
• Experience overseeing multiple facilities, departments, or service lines in a health system or multi-site environment is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide corporate leadership and strategic oversight across affiliated hospitals.
• Establish system-wide standards, policies, and best practices while recognizing facility-specific regulatory requirements.
• Partner with hospital executives to improve quality, safety, service, productivity, and financial performance.
• Develop and monitor KPIs across ancillary services (quality, utilization, turnaround time, productivity, patient experience).
• Support regulatory readiness and ongoing compliance with federal, state, accreditation, and specialty requirements (CMS, CLIA, imaging safety).
• Collaborate with local service line leaders to ensure clinical and technical decisions stay within scope and licensure.
• Identify variation across facilities and lead standardization to improve reliability, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
• Travel to affiliated hospitals to assess operations, support leaders, and validate improvement plans.
