Job Summary

The Director of Human Resources plays a pivotal leadership role, providing strategic HR Business Partner guidance at the Executive Leadership Team level. This position is responsible for leading and overseeing HR Business Partners, ensuring a comprehensive, proactive, and strategic approach to HR initiatives. The Director will understand the needs and strategies of various business groups, focusing on talent reviews, succession planning, employee engagement, and organizational design. Additionally, this role collaborates with HR Centers of Excellence (COE) to implement initiatives that support organizational growth and success.

Essential Functions
  • Collaborate with business units to understand their landscape, identify challenges, and develop actionable plans.
  • Build strong relationships to provide strategic insights and guidance, aligning talent and organizational strategies with business goals.
  • Lead talent review sessions and partner with leaders to create development plans.
  • Develop and execute succession plans for high-potential employees.
  • Enhance company culture and employee engagement through partnerships with Employee Relations and HR COEs.
  • Assess organizational structures and develop plans to optimize performance and prepare for growth.
  • Participate in setting departmental goals and processes for alignment and effectiveness.
  • Advocate for HR strategies related to goal setting, performance reviews, and merit processes.
  • Identify leadership development needs and collaborate with Talent Development teams.
  • Monitor HR metrics and provide strategic recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Collaborate with HR COEs on impactful initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws across all states.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, management, or related field required; Master’s preferred.
  • 7-10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 in a strategic HR Business Partner role.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience required.
  • M&A experience is a plus.

Compensation Range

$132,900 - $232,700, based on experience and qualifications. Includes potential bonuses and comprehensive benefits.
