Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. is seeking a Director, Global Clinical Development to design and oversee clinical programs for OPDC products in a global health-care market.

You will lead trials, consult with regulators, and shape GDCP strategies to evaluate safety, efficacy, and value. The role requires advanced medical background (MD/DO) with nephrology/immunology/dermatology preference, strong leadership, and experience in company or academic translational research.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical medical knowledge and science management to define objectives and deliver outcomes on time and on budget.
• Excellent communication in meetings, written and oral presentations; proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Experience leading, managing and motivating teams, including external investigators or consultants.
• Flexibility to work across therapeutic areas and stages of development; cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Designs and oversees clinical research programs and protocols for OPDC products.
• Interprets Phase I–IV results and prepares for new drug submissions; acts as NDA signatory.
• Provides strategic oversight of vendor/CRO relationships and governance.
• Leads regulatory filing activities and ensures clear, convincing written communications.
