Job summary

Travere Therapeutics is seeking a Director of Clinical Science to lead nephrology development activities, contribute to trial design and data analysis, and ensure compliance with GCPs. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams and external partners to advance clinical programs.

The candidate will prepare manuscripts, presentations, and regulatory documents for INDs, NDAs, and BLAs, while traveling up to 15% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• PhD, PharmD, or MD in related Life Science discipline required.
• Experience in rare disease and/or nephrology preferred.
• 6 years of pharmaceutical industry experience; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• Experience working on clinical trials and clinical studies required; human pharmacology experience preferred.
• Experience contributing to INDs, NDAs, and BLAs; regulatory information requests experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and implementation of clinical studies and data analyses.
• Assist in reporting clinical trial data for safety and efficacy.
• Collaborate to ensure Good Clinical Practices (GCPs) are followed.
• Lead preparation of clinical and data analysis reports, slide decks, and regulatory summaries.
• Contribute to INDs, NDAs, BLAs, and regulatory submissions with study teams and collaborators.
• Establish relationships with alliance partners, investigators, and key opinion leaders.
