Job summary

RayzeBio, a Bristol Myers Squibb company, seeks a Director, Clinical Data Management to lead end‑to‑end data management for a new product's clinical studies. You will set strategy, drive execution, ensure data quality, and partner with study teams, CROs, and vendors to deliver reliable data for decision making.

This role requires 10+ years in data management, oncology focus, and hands‑on leadership. Travel ~10%; San Diego, CA base with AI tooling experience welcomed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Mathematics, Health Sciences, or a related field required.
• Minimum of 10 years data management experience in pharma/biotech/CRO.
• Experience leading study teams, vendors, or direct/indirect reports; mentoring ability.
• In‑depth Oncology experience required.
• Experience managing CRO relationships and data management deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Clinical Data Management program for a new product from startup through database lock.
• Develop and drive the data management strategy, including startup planning, database build oversight, and submission readiness.
• Oversee data management execution with study teams and vendors to ensure timely, high‑quality data.
• Partner with Biostatistics, Clinical Operations, Safety, and Regulatory Affairs to align priorities and deliverables.
• Lead data review activities and manage data issues, risks, and quality concerns.
