Job summary

Eliassen Group seeks a Copywriter to develop creative direct mail copy across products and audiences. The role collaborates with art directors, creative directors, and marketing partners to translate strategy into effective communications that strengthen the brand and customer experience.

The position is remote with contract status and competitive pay in the $20–$30 per hour range (W2). Experience in Direct Mail and Adobe InDesign is valued to deliver precise, on-brand messaging.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of copywriting experience in a professional setting.
• At least 2 years of Direct Mail experience with understanding of Adobe InDesign.
• Experience in B2C, Direct Response, Print, or Direct Mail is preferred.
• Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Produce creative copy for a range of products within the Direct Mail Print channel.
• Brainstorm concepts and execute projects while collaborating with art directors and marketing teams.
• Partner with internal marketing and line-of-business stakeholders to translate strategy into communications.
• Create marketing that stands out using data-driven insights and brand guidelines.
• Incorporate consumer insights to influence work and improve customer experiences.
• Manage multiple deadlines and deliver error-free work with attention to detail.
• Listen to feedback and decide whether to adapt existing solutions or develop new ones.
• Understand project goals, take direction, and communicate clearly to diverse audiences.
