Job summary

Contact Discovery Services, LLC is seeking a Digital Forensic Analyst for remote work with occasional on-site collections in Denver. The role requires expertise in forensic lifecycle, tool proficiency, and strong communication with legal and IT teams.

Qualified candidates will have a 3+ year background in digital forensics, experience with Axiom/EnCase/Cellebrite/FTK Imager, and willingness to travel on short notice. A proactive, detail-oriented self-starter is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an undergraduate degree in Digital Forensic Science or Computer Science/Engineering.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in forensic lifecycle, scoping, evidence acquisitions, and intermediate analysis.
• Experience using industry standard forensic tools (Axiom, EnCase, Cellebrite, FTK Imager, Digital Collector).
• General understanding of Mac/Windows filesystems, mobile devices, and encryption.
• Experience preserving desktops, laptops, mobile devices/tablets, servers, cloud/on-premise email implementations, and other data sources in a forensically sound manner.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients, both verbally and in writing.
• Willingness to travel regularly on short notice; valid passport for occasional international travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform forensic data collections and analysis on-site and remotely.
• Coordinate with legal teams and client IT to define scope.
• Maintain and update forensic toolsets with current versions.
• Collaborate with project management to complete complex projects under deadlines.
• Develop and refine procedures to meet discovery requirements.
• Manage chain of custody and adherence to policies.
• Perform quality checks on work products before delivery to clients.
• Assist with general IT duties as needed.
