Contact Discovery Services is seeking a Digital Forensic Analyst for a remote role with occasional travel to support on-site collection efforts. The candidate will perform forensic data collections and analysis, coordinate with legal teams, and ensure strict chain-of-custody procedures.

Ideal applicants hold an undergraduate degree in Digital Forensic Science or Computer Science/Engineering and have 3+ years of relevant experience with industry-standard tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum undergraduate degree in Digital Forensic Science or Computer Science/Engineering.
• 3+ years of relevant forensic experience and understanding of the forensic lifecycle.
• Experience with standard forensic tools (Axiom, EnCase, Cellebrite, FTK Imager, Digital Collector).
• Familiarity with Mac/Windows file systems, mobile devices, and encryption.
• Ability to document workflows and communicate with technical and non-technical clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform forensic data collections and analyses on-site and remotely.
• Coordinate with legal teams and client IT to define project scope.
• Maintain and update forensic tool sets; stay current with new options.
• Manage chain-of-custody best practices and adhere to SOPs.
• Quality check work prior to client delivery; assist in process documentation.
