Job summary

Contact Discovery Services is seeking a Digital Forensic Analyst to perform forensic data collections and analysis in a primarily remote role, with occasional on-site travel as needed. The ideal candidate has a 4-year degree (Digital Forensic Science or CS/Engineering) and 3+ years of relevant experience, plus proficiency with standard forensic tools.

Salary ranges from $65,000 to $80,000 with opportunities for travel and career growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an undergraduate degree in Digital Forensic Science or Computer Science/Engineering.
• 3+ years of relevant experience with forensic lifecycle, evidence acquisitions, and intermediate forensic analysis.
• Experience with standard forensic tools (Axiom, EnCase, Cellebrite, FTK Imager, Digital Collector).
• Solid understanding of Mac/Windows filesystems, mobile devices, and encryption.

Responsibilities

• Perform forensic data collections and analysis on-site and remotely.
• Coordinate with legal teams and client IT departments to define project scope.
• Maintain and update forensic toolsets and procedures.
• Ensure chain of custody best practices and adherence to SOPs.
• Deliver quality work product and assist in developing processes.
