Job summary

Akaasa Infotech Noida is seeking a Digital Developer / Consultant Developer for a 6-month contract to support a Japan-based digital project. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining digital applications while collaborating with distributed teams across Japan, EMEA, and India.

The ideal candidate has strong software development fundamentals, Agile experience, and the ability to contribute across multiple application versions and platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong background in software/digital application development.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

• Experience with API development and system integration.
• Familiar with debugging, testing, deployment practices.
• Able to work independently and with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain digital applications per requirements.
• Contribute to SDLC activities including analysis, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Produce scalable, high-quality solutions following coding standards.
• Identify improvements, fix bugs, and optimize existing applications.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, QA, product teams, and other developers to deliver requirements.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, code reviews, and technical troubleshooting.
• Support integration with internal and external systems and services.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Coordinate with distributed teams across Japan, EMEA, and India to ensure timely milestones.
• Adhere to security, performance, and quality standards throughout development lifecycle.
