Job summary

Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana is seeking an Engagement Manager to lead digital storytelling and manage all organic social media channels. You will collaborate with marketing, fundraising, and leadership to craft engaging content that advances the organization's mission.

The role requires a strong command of social platforms, content creation, and timely audience engagement, with a focus on producing compelling photos and videos for marketing and fundraising materials.

Qualifications

• This role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in marketing, communications, or related field.
• At least 2+ years of social media management experience for a brand or organization.
• A strong understanding of social media spaces, communities, and trends.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with marketing, fundraising, and leadership to create engaging content aligned with the brand.
• Execute digital marketing strategies and maintain editorial calendars.
• Engage with audiences, respond to messages timely, and escalate issues as needed.
• Shoot and edit photos and video content within brand guidelines.
• Manage storytelling assets and centralize asset filing in a story bank.
• Assist with email marketing, including monthly newsletters, using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Support website management and collaborate with external partners on content strategy.
