Job summary

Top Nutrition Coaching is seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian for a fully remote, 1099 contractor role. You will provide virtual nutrition counseling, build personalized plans, and support clients across meal planning, travel, labs, and supplements, while managing your own schedule.

Qualified candidates are RDs in good standing with the CDR, with outpatient/counseling experience and a strong clinical foundation in medical nutrition therapy.

Qualifications

• RD/RDN credential in good standing with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Experience in outpatient or counseling settings
• Strong clinical foundation in medical nutrition therapy and evidence-based care
• Ability to translate nutrition guidance into realistic, sustainable behavior change
• Empathetic, client-centered approach; motivation and support for clients
• Excellent organization; ability to work independently in a virtual setting

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual, one-on-one nutrition counseling grounded in evidence-based care
• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop personalized nutrition plans
• Support clients in meal planning, dining out, travel, lab interpretation, and supplementation guidance
• Guide clients through ongoing goal-setting using a structured framework for sustainable behavior change
• Build strong, supportive relationships to encourage long-term engagement
• Maintain clear, timely documentation and follow-ups
• Manage your own schedule and availability
