Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in the North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System seeks a Diagnostic Radiologist for its Diagnostic Imaging Service Line.

This fully remote - 100% telework position provides comprehensive diagnostic radiology services via telehealth - primarily supporting the Lake City VA Medical Center. Qualifications

• Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret general diagnostic radiology studies including radiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine exams.
• Protocolling and optimizing imaging examinations to support clinical decisions.
• Consult with referring services to provide expert guidance on imaging findings and appropriate diagnostic workup.
• Supervise administration of medications including contrast agents by technologists and/or nurses.
• Obtain patient consent for contrast administration as required.
• Maintain flexible schedule as needed to support facility/patient care needs.
