Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Remote Diagnostic Audiologist to deliver remote diagnostic audiology services in partnership with ENT practices. The role works with an onsite MA to perform evaluations, including pure-tone and speech audiometry, video otoscopy, and immittance testing, plus initial fitting of air-conduction hearing aids.

You will document findings in the ENT EMR, communicate recommendations to patients, and maintain HIPAA-compliant records, in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Audiology from an accredited institution.
• State licensure and certification as a Diagnostic Audiologist.
• Experience with telehealth technology and remote patient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works with the ENT Clinic Staff to provide diagnostic audiology services as directed by the ENT group including:
• Perform diagnostic audiology evaluations including pure-tone and speech audiometry.
• Perform immittance testing.
• Provide initial fitting of air-conduction hearing aids and counseling.
• Document chart notes and reports in the ENT EMR.
• Communicate assessment findings to patients clearly and empathetically.
• Maintain accurate records in the electronic medical record system.
