Job summary

FRSecure, a leading information security firm, is seeking a DFIR Analyst to deliver high-quality incident response investigations for clients across varying maturity levels. You will conduct forensics, triage, threat hunting, and reporting while engaging with clients during planning and execution.

This full-time remote role is open in multiple US states, with Minnesota preferred. The position includes on-call duties, standard business hours, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of information security experience.
• Experience with Active Directory, Systems Administration, Exchange Administration, and M365.
• Experience in threat hunting and incident handling.
• Experience with EDR and SIEM technologies.
• Ability to clearly convey complex information to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Performing forensic review of client systems for artifacts and indicators of compromise.
• Conducting triage, threat-hunting, and case management for incident response clients.
• Documenting detailed evidence, findings, and creating a report output.
• Meeting with clients during planning, information sharing, and technical support stages.
• Creating and delivering proactive projects to clients including tabletop exercises and plan coaching.
• Participating in on-call rotation and meeting SLAs.
