Job summary

FRSecure is seeking a DFIR Analyst for full-time remote work across the United States. The role focuses on high-quality incident response, threat hunting, and forensic investigations with client-facing reporting and tabletop exercise delivery.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in information security, experience with AD/M365, EDR/SIEM, and strong analytical and communication skills. Salary ranges from $95,000 to $125,000 with potential bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in information security and incident response.
• Experience with AD, systems admin, Exchange, and M365/clouds.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• GCiH/GCFA/ECIH certifications preferred.
• Experience with threat hunting, incident handling, and EDR/SIEM.
• Good understanding of firewall and network logs; strong analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Perform forensic reviews to identify IOCs and contain threats.
• Triage, threat hunting, and case management for IR clients.
• Document evidence, findings, and create client reports.
• Lead planning sessions, provide technical support, and tabletop exercises.
• Maintain ongoing client communications and IR program consulting.
• Participate in on-call rotations and meet SLAs.
