Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a DevSecOps Platform Engineer to streamline the software development lifecycle for a large government program. You will implement CI/CD, automation, and cloud resources to accelerate delivery of critical tools to mission workers and digital citizens.

The role requires hands-on experience with Kubernetes, GitLab CI, Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform, Terragrunt, and Python, plus AWS. A DoD 8570 IAT Level II/III within 30 days is expected after hire.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Infrastructure, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineer role.
• 2+ years deploying containerized applications.
• 2+ years with AWS.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with Agile methods.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, incl. Terraform, or Configuration as Code, incl. Ansible.
• Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II or III within 30 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop DevOps pipeline to drive rapid delivery of functionality using CI/CD tools.
• Use state of the art diagnostic tools and monitoring to analyze web application errors through code and log analysis.
• Support a large-scale government program with next-gen tools, standards, and processes including Kubernetes, GitLab CI, Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform, Terragrunt, and Python.
