Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support NAVREMS, a Navy-focused modernization program aimed at radiation exposure management, cybersecurity compliance, and mission-critical operations.

The role is fully remote, enabling collaboration with distributed teams across AWS GovCloud environments while ensuring secure development, deployment, and maintenance of software, cloud, and edge-based solutions for NAVREMS.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cybersecurity/DevSecOps experience
• Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS Inspector or AWS Security Hub
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field
• DoD 8570 Level I certification

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for NAVREMS applications and infrastructure
• Implement automated security scanning, vulnerability management, and compliance checks
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) across AWS GovCloud environments
• Enforce secure configuration baselines and access controls for cloud and edge systems
• Support continuous monitoring, incident response, and remediation activities
• Collaborate with developers and system engineers to integrate security throughout the SDLC
