Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Security Engineer (DevSecOps) to embed security into the software development lifecycle across teams. You will drive automated security testing, policy enforcement, and secure data practices in cloud-native environments.

You will collaborate with developers, operations, and security to harden containers, manage secrets, and monitor deployments. Excellent English is required for global collaboration and rapid threat detection.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Security Engineering, DevSecOps, or DevOps.
• Experience embedding security into CI/CD pipelines and automated workflows.
• Proficiency with security tooling integration such as Snyk, Trivy, or Aqua.
• Hands-on experience implementing Policy as Code using Open Policy Agent (OPA).
• Strong background in secrets management and securing containerized infrastructure.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Integrate automated security scanning and testing tools into CI/CD pipelines.
• Define and implement Policy as Code to maintain consistent security standards.
• Manage and secure sensitive data through robust secrets management solutions.
• Harden containerized workloads and orchestration platforms to protect cloud-native environments.
• Foster security awareness with engineering teams and secure coding practices.
• Conduct continuous monitoring and auditing of infrastructure for compliance and rapid threat detection.
