Job summary
Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced DevOps & SRE Engineer to ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of large-scale distributed systems in production. As an SRE you will apply software engineering principles to infrastructure and automate complex services.
This full-time, remote role requires deep systems knowledge, strong programming skills, and a data-driven approach to reliability for a fast-growing technology consulting environment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of SRE/DevOps or production engineering experience with large-scale distributed systems.
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java for automation.
- Hands-on Linux administration, networking, and performance tuning.
- Production experience with Kubernetes and container workloads.
- Experience with observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK).
- Experience designing CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and apps.
Responsibilities
- Ensure availability and performance of large-scale distributed systems in production.
- Apply software engineering principles to infrastructure and operations problems.
- Automate and operate complex services to improve reliability.
- Collaborate across teams to push platform toward higher reliability with lower toil.
