Job summary

SOSi in the United States is seeking a part-time DevOps Engineer to help design, implement, and sustain a scalable data ecosystem for a DoD customer, focusing on interoperability and mission-tailored analytics.

You will manage environment-specific Kubernetes configurations, implement secrets injection, and integrate CI/CD pipelines across AWS/Azure/GCP and on-prem, ensuring STIG alignment and RBAC policy enforcement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of DevOps experience.
Experience designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines across cloud and on-prem environments.
Proficiency with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and IaC (Terraform, Ansible).
Strong knowledge of cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and monitoring/logging tools.

Responsibilities

Create and manage Kubernetes config packages with hardening and RBAC per IL environments.
Implement secrets injection with FedRAMP-compliant tools and automate deployment pipelines.
Integrate CI/CD to deploy and rollback ArcGIS components securely across environments.
Coordinate with Kubernetes and Data Layer Engineers for version control, testing, and integration of containerized services.
Provide cloud resource usage profiles for IL2/IL4/IL5 deployments and assist in cost optimization.
