Job summary

SOSi is seeking a DevOps Engineer to develop, integrate, and sustain a scalable data ecosystem for a DoD customer in a remote capacity. You will bridge operational gaps across DoD, IC, interagency, and partners to enable real-time information sharing and mission-tailored analytics.

The role emphasizes implementing STIG-aligned Kubernetes configurations, secret management, and secure CI/CD pipelines across IL2/IL4/IL5 environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or 5 years DevOps experience.
• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for scalable deployments.
• Proficient with Kubernetes, Docker, IaC (Terraform/Ansible).
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and monitoring stacks.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain environment-specific Kubernetes configuration packages with STIG-aligned hardening and RBAC policy enforcement.
• Implement and manage secrets injection strategies with FedRAMP-compliant tools.
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines to deploy and rollback ArcGIS components securely across environments.
• Coordinate with Kubernetes and Data Layer Engineers for version control, testing, and integration.
• Provide estimated cloud resource usage profiles for Kubernetes deployments in IL2/IL4/IL5 environments.
• Support cost optimization through workload adjustments and tagging aligned with governance.
