Job summary

Fabletics is seeking a DevOps Engineer II to join a high-scale environment spanning Kubernetes, cloud-native AWS services, and on-prem VM workloads. You will partner with engineering teams to deliver targeted infrastructure improvements and automation across services.

You will design and maintain Kubernetes clusters (EKS/NKP), build reusable Terraform modules and GitHub Actions workflows, and contribute to incident response, monitoring, and documentation.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering role.
• Hands-on production Kubernetes experience.
• Proficient with CI/CD workflow automation tools (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar).
• Solid AWS experience - EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch at minimum.
• Comfort with Linux/VM-based infrastructure.
• Hands-on with IaC tools (Terraform or equivalents) and config management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Familiarity with Nexus Sonatype or similar artifact repository management.
• Comfortable with on-call duties and incident triage.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, and/or Node.js.

Responsibilities

• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines built on Jenkins and GitHub Actions, including self-hosted GitHub Runners.
• Embed with engineering teams as DevOps partner to deliver infra and automation improvements.
• Design, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes clusters across EKS and NKP on VM environments.
• Build and maintain shared libraries and reusable components (GitHub Actions workflows, Terraform modules).
• Manage Nexus Sonatype artifact repository on VM environments.
• Collaborate on AWS infrastructure management (networking, IAM, storage, compute).
• Contribute to observability: logging, metrics, tracing across high-volume systems.
• Participate in on-call rotations; own incidents with urgency.
• Document systems, runbooks, processes to reduce tribal knowledge.
