Job description

Job Title: Sr. DevOps Engineer - Azure, Infrastructure as Code

Compensation: $87/hr

Employment Type: Contract (12 months) W2

Location: Remote

Reason for Opening: On the SysOps team, with 30% leading and mentoring, and 70% hands-on work. Additional team management experience is desired.

Must Have Experience:

• 5+ years in DevOps and Cloud Engineering with deep hands-on experience in Azure, including Azure App Services, Networking, Storage, SQL Databases, Key Vault, and Application Gateway.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code, primarily Bicep (ARM Templates experience is a plus).
• Advanced knowledge of Azure DevOps (pipelines, release management, artifacts).

The project focuses on automating infrastructure, which is currently manual and has accumulated technical debt, making the existing infrastructure unsustainable.
