Job summary

Blu Omega LLC seeks a DevOps Engineer to support a federal public health program in a remote capacity. The role focuses on CI/CD pipeline development, automation, and cloud infrastructure management within a mission-driven government setting.

Responsibilities include building and maintaining pipelines, managing GitHub Actions runners, IaC with Terraform, and AWS serverless services. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in DevOps, strong Python skills, and experience with security-focused DevSecOps

Qualifications

• 4+ years in DevOps, cloud infra, or related roles.
• Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines; GitHub Actions preferred.
• IaC with Terraform.
• AWS serverless deployment experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary technical resource for CI/CD workflows and pipelines.
• Build, optimize, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Manage and monitor GitHub Actions runners and workflows.
• Collaborate with product owners and engineering teams to resolve backlog items.
• Implement interfaces between CI/CD services and enterprise systems.
• Maintain AWS serverless infrastructure using Terraform and IaC best practices.
• Develop Python scripts and lightweight automation tools for ops tasks.
• Ensure CI/CD environments are current, secure, and reliable.
• Collaborate to implement DevSecOps best practices for reliability and automation.
• Explore AI-assisted tools to enhance workflows.
• Identify opportunities for automation and deployment reliability.
