Job summary

C Teleport is hiring a DevOps Engineer to run and improve our AWS infrastructure, delivery pipelines, and production reliability. This remote role supports a Rotterdam-aligned workflow and a small DevOps team.

You’ll own tasks from investigation to rollout, with onboarding support and code reviews. Ideal candidates have hands-on AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes experience, plus Linux networking and automation skills.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience operating production infrastructure on AWS.
Practical Terraform experience: understanding plans, state, resources, and changes.
Experience running and troubleshooting Kubernetes workloads.
Working knowledge of Linux, networking, IAM, and application troubleshooting.
Ability to write and maintain scripts or small tools for operational work.
Safe judgement when changing production: verify impact and ask for help when needed.
Clear communication about progress, blockers, risks, and unfinished work.

Responsibilities

Operate and improve our AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes workloads using Terraform and GitOps.
Maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate recurring operational work.
Investigate production issues, improve monitoring and alerts, and address root causes.
Improve infrastructure security, access management, backups, and recovery.
Plan and deliver infrastructure changes with clear scope, validation, and rollback where applicable.
Keep documentation and handoffs up to date so another engineer can support or continue work.
Participate in a shared on-call rotation after onboarding.
