Clear Destination Inc. is a forward-thinking company seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain a scalable cloud environment in AWS, emphasizing security and cost efficiency. You will build robust IaC, automate pipelines, and manage containerized workloads.

Collaboration with development, QA and operations is essential to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability. This remote role requires strong scripting, monitoring, and on-call readiness across time zones.

Qualifications

• Four+ years in a DevOps or similar role focusing on cloud infrastructure, automation, and managing complex environments.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash or similar.
• Experience with Bitbucket or similar CI/CD tools and processes.
• Experience with Terraform or other IaC tooling and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Working knowledge of relational (RDS) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Couchbase) databases.
• Familiarity with VoIP infrastructure (Asterisk, Kamailio, RTPEngine) and SIP.
• Understanding of monitoring/observability tools like Datadog and ELK.
• Security best practices including vulnerability management and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Designs, implements, and maintains AWS cloud infrastructure with focus on networking, security, and cost efficiency.
• Builds and maintains CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and deployment.
• Develops IaC using Terraform/Ansible to ensure consistency and scalability.
• Manages containerized applications with Docker and supports Kubernetes deployments.
• Oversees and optimizes RDS and MongoDB/Couchbase databases for performance.
• Supports telephony infra using Asterisk, Kamailio, RTPEngine.
• Implements messaging/streaming with Kafka and monitors with Datadog/ELK.
• Maintains alerting workflows with OpsGenie and Slack, participates in on-call rotations.
