Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Developer Advocate based in Norway to connect with developers through technical expertise, content creation, and community engagement. You will represent developer needs across conferences, meetups, webinars, podcasts, and online communities, while producing tutorials, demos, and technical articles to simplify data workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in developer advocacy or related technical role.
• Established presence within relevant developer communities.
• Strong understanding of web technologies, APIs, web scraping, and data extraction.
• Proficient in Python.
• Demonstrable interest in web data extraction and related tech.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; experience presenting.

Responsibilities

• Represent the organization at developer conferences, meetups, podcasts, webinars, and other events.
• Identify speaking, sponsorship, partnership, and community opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver technical talks, workshops, and live demos for developers.
• Build and maintain relationships with developers, event organizers, and technology partners.
• Grow and support a network of external advocates focused on web data and APIs.
• Create technical content (tutorials, articles, videos, code samples).
• Demonstrate approaches to web scraping, API integration, and data challenges.
