This role emphasizes California lemon law and strong litigation skills while managing a steady deposition calendar across the state. This is a 100% remote position requiring active California State Bar membership.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of civil litigation experience with depositions.
• Strong command of California civil procedure, evidence, and consumer warranty law • Song-Beverly a plus.
• Excellent oral advocacy and witness examination skills.
• Outstanding legal writing with deposition-related work.
• Organized, detail-oriented, able to manage competing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed deposition outlines and focused examination plans.
• Take and defend depositions (fact and expert) in lemon law, warranty, and consumer matters.
• Coordinate logistics and exhibits; manage subpoenas and vendors.
• Draft deposition summaries, transcripts, and designations for trial use.
