Job summary

Calbright College is seeking a Department Chair for Health Science Programs to lead program quality, workforce relevance, and continuous improvement in a fully online environment. Working with the Dean of Learning and Instruction, you will guide curriculum, experiential learning opportunities, and accreditation readiness across California sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a health-related field.
• Minimum three years in healthcare, health sciences education, or workforce development.
• Experience supporting program quality, curriculum development, and student success initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership to support program approval across state, accreditation, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor health care industry trends and align programs with workforce demands and compliance.
• Lead advisory councils and partner with healthcare employers to ensure practical learning opportunities.
• Oversee program review processes, data analysis, and reporting to support continuous improvement.
• Mentor adjunct faculty, lead meetings, and oversee outcomes assessment and course content.
