Job summary

Ancient Crunch Inc. is seeking a Demand Planning Associate to forecast demand, collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain, and translate insights into actionable volume plans that improve service levels and revenue.

The ideal candidate is analytical, comfortable with large datasets, and can communicate across teams in a fast-paced consumer goods environment. As the company scales, you will lead new initiatives and adapt duties to support our growing demand planning function and

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in demand planning or related CPG analytics.
• Excel skills with pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and scenario modeling; BI tools a plus.
• Exposure to demand planning or ERP systems.
• Familiarity with syndicated data platforms (IRI/Circana, Nielsen, SPINS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Clear communicator with the ability to present data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Forecast Development & Maintenance: build baseline forecasts at SKU/customer/channel level and adjust for promotions and launches.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: align with Account Managers, Retail Marketing, Supply Planning, and Finance on demand signals and inventory.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: analyze POS/syndicated data and create dashboards/KPIs for forecast accuracy and inventory health.
• New Item & Promotional Planning: forecast new SKUs using historical data and market inputs.
• Process & System Improvement: identify optimization opportunities and support system implementations.
