Job summary

Stride, Inc. is hiring a Dean of Students for Insight School of Arizona (ISAZ), a K12 partner, to strengthen a positive, structured, achievement-oriented and joyful virtual school culture.

You will work with the Principal and leadership team and coach teachers, while focusing on attendance, engagement and student well-being. The role is full-time and remote, with expected 40+ hours per week, and requires a valid Arizona teaching license and fingerprint clearance.

Qualifications

• This role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least five years in education or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong ability to build relationships with students, families and staff, and to model positive school culture.
• Experience in behavior management and tracking student engagement in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with students grounded in respect, enthusiasm, achievement and self-determination.
• Ensure behavioral expectations and school culture standards are met across the remote environment.
• Support teachers in maintaining high behavioral expectations and instructional alignment.
• Lead staff efforts to ensure excellent attendance and engagement.
• Develop and maintain communicative relationships with families as partners in student success.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student performance and achievement.
