Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Controls Engineer with strong Distributed Control System (DCS) experience to support automation projects and ongoing operations across our North American client base.

You will design, configure, implement, test, and support DCS solutions on Foxboro, DeltaV, and Honeywell platforms, working closely with plant personnel, operations teams, and maintenance staff to improve reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of Distributed Control System (DCS) programming experience.
• Experience with Foxboro is highly preferred.
• Experience with DeltaV and/or Honeywell platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and commissioning experience.
• Ability to work directly with customers in industrial manufacturing environments.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement DCS programming solutions for process control applications.
• Configure and support Foxboro, DeltaV, and/or Honeywell control platforms.
• Participate in control system upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
• Integrate DCS systems with plant-wide automation and control infrastructure.
• Perform system testing, validation, startup, and commissioning activities.
• Troubleshoot control system issues and provide technical support for customer operations.
• Train plant personnel on system functionality and best practices.
• Collaborate with customers, engineers, operators, and maintenance teams to improve system performance and reliability.
• Support both project execution and ongoing service-related activities.
