Job summary

PCI Federal (PCIF) seeks a Solutions/Databricks Architect to lead data lakehouse design and end-to-end pipelines for federal data solutions. The role requires expertise in Databricks, Delta Lake, Spark, and governance aligned with FedRAMP/NIST standards.

Remote work is allowed, with collaboration across government stakeholders. You will optimize performance, security, and cost, and enable real-time analytics and ML workflows using MLflow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5–10 years in data engineering/architecture, 3+ years with Databricks.
• Public Trust (or higher) clearance eligibility.
• Expertise in Databricks including Delta Lake and SQL.
• Strong Python/Scala/Java for data engineering and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable data lakehouse architectures with Databricks for federal data solutions.
• Develop and optimize end-to-end data pipelines with governance and security per federal standards.
• Collaborate with federal stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions.
• Lead efforts to integrate Databricks with federal cloud services (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government).
• Enable real‑time processing and ML workflows using MLflow and related tools.
