Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Mid-Level Databricks/Informatica Data Engineer for remote engagement. The role focuses on building scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT with Informatica, and supporting cloud-based data platforms enabling BI and analytics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering, ETL development, or data warehousing experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica IICS.
• Build and optimize Databricks notebooks, workflows, and data pipelines for large-scale data processing.
• Develop data ingestion frameworks from structured and unstructured sources.
• Implement data transformations, cleansing, enrichment, and validation processes.
• Create scalable solutions using PySpark, Spark SQL, and Delta Lake.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements.
• Troubleshoot data integration, performance, and quality issues.
• Support migration to modern cloud-based data architectures.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
• Participate in Agile sprint planning, reviews, and deployments.
