Job summary

Quantum Integrators is seeking a Databricks Architect to design and implement scalable data solutions on the Databricks platform. Remote position with UK shift timings and full-time contract details.

The role requires hands-on Databricks/Spark expertise, PySpark/SQL proficiency, and strong cloud experience across Azure, AWS, or GCP. You will lead data engineering initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver governance-aware architectures.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark.
• Excellent knowledge of PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake, and Lakehouse architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Strong understanding of data engineering, ETL/ELT, and data architecture.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise-scale Databricks and Lakehouse solutions.
• Provide technical leadership for data engineering and cloud data initiatives.
• Develop and optimize solutions using Databricks, Spark, PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake.
• Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, security, and governance requirements.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand requirements and define solutions.
• Lead architecture discussions and provide technical guidance to engineering teams.
