Qualifications

• US Citizen.
• Minimum five years of database administration or database engineering experience.
• Experience migrating databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL to Azure or AWS.
• Strong skills in performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Experience validating data integrity.
• Works on issues of diverse scope under limited guidance and independently determines the approach to assignments.
• Nice to have: Azure Government or AWS GovCloud experience, cloud certifications, and IaC/tooling familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Assesses databases for migration readiness and compatibility.
• Plans and executes complex database migrations.
• Identifies and remediates compatibility issues.
• Validates data integrity after migration.
