Job summary

Emerge Solutions Group, LLC is seeking a Database Specialist III to support the DHA MEPRS Program Office and Cost Accounting Branch. The role involves data analysis, processing, quality review, reporting, and customer support, with a focus on learning the program and data rules.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent analytical experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with SAS. The position offers remote work with potential client-site travel as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an analytical/technical field or related experience may be considered.
• 3+ years of data analysis, reporting, data management or healthcare analytics.
• Strong Excel skills: formulas, lookups, pivot tables, data cleanup and reconciliation.
• Experience with SAS or similar data-analysis tools.
• Ability to identify data inconsistencies and communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Support recurring MEPRS data processing, validation, and reporting.
• Extract, manipulate, analyze, and validate data using SAS, Excel, and BI tools.
• Review data for variances, outliers, and data-quality issues.
• Research issues independently and document findings and resolutions.
• Develop and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports and datasets.
• Collaborate with staff and stakeholders to resolve data concerns.
